چکیده

We consider the nonlinear filtering model with Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process as noise and obtain an analogue of the Bayes’ formula for the filter. For this we need to consider a modified model, where the instaneteneous effect h(Xt) of the signal in the usual model is replaced by ξ t = α ∫ t (t− 1 α )∨0 h(Xu) du, (where α is a large parameter). This means that there is a lingering effect of the signal for a time period 1 α . Further, we also show the filter with Ornstein-Uhlenbeck converges to the usual filter in probability. Some Solvable Classes of Filtering Problem with Ornstein-uhlenbeck Noise

This is a companion paper of Crisan et el [4]. In this article, we study a few classes of solvable models of the stochastic filtering problems with Ornstein-Uhlenbeck noise: Firstly, we study the singular linear filter with OU noise. Secondly, for nonsingular linear filtering with OU noise, we consider the limit to the classical Kalman-Bucy filter as the OU process converges to the Brownian mot...

Ornstein–Uhlenbeck related models driven by Lévy processes

Recently, there has been increasing interest in continuous-time stochastic models with jumps, a class of models which has applications in the fields of finance, insurance mathematics and storage theory, to name just a few. In this chapter we shall collect known results about a prominent class of these continuoustime models with jumps, namely the class of Lévy-driven Ornstein–Uhlenbeck processes...

We combine earlier investigations of linear systems with Lévy fluc-We give a complete construction of the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck-Cauchy process as a fully computable model of an anomalous transport and a paradigm example of Doob's stable noise-supported Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process. Despite the nonexistence of all moments, we determine local characteristics (forward drift) of the process, generators ...

Undamped Harmonic Oscillator Driven by Additive Gaussian White Noise: a Statistical Analysis

While consistency of the maximum likelihood estimator of the drift matrix in a multi-dimensional continuous time Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process holds under rather general conditions, little is known about the rate of convergence and the limiting distribution of the estimator when the underlying process is not ergodic. The objective of the paper is to investigate these questions for an important exa...

Ornstein-Uhlenbeck limit for the velocity process of an N-particle system interacting stochastically

An N-particle system with stochastic interactions is considered. Interactions are driven by a Brownian noise term and total energy conservation is imposed. The evolution of the system, in velocity space, is a diffusion on a (3N − 1)-dimensional sphere with radius fixed by the total energy. In the N → ∞ limit, a finite number of velocity components are shown to evolve independently and according...
